Andrea Eugenio
Andrea is one of this year’s additions to the senior class at Bob Jones Academy, hailing all the way from Guam across the Pacific Ocean. In Guam Andrea attended home school until she enrolled at Harvest Christian Academy. Andrea’s family decided to move to the United States due to job offers here, ultimately deciding on South Carolina since she had always wanted to graduate from Bob Jones University. After her first week at Bob Jones Academy, Andrea says, “One thing I noticed that is different was how here the student environment was a lot more Christ-centered.” Even though Andrea had previously attended a Christian school, she said that the prayer meetings and worship nights helped to make BJA feel more unified. At her old high school, Andrea was part of the choir, her school newspaper, and even a Future Business Leaders of America club. In her spare time Andrea enjoys reading, photographing sports events, and playing the guitar. In the future she hopes to attend BJU and major in Forensic Psychology.
Chandler Fralin
Chandler is a new senior this year from Pennsylvania. He is planning to do photography for the sports teams here at BJA. Chandler is enjoying his first year here so far, and his favorite classes are Economics and Vo-Tech.
Rilian Lal
Rilian is a new senior this year from Louisville, Kentucky. He is on the varsity volleyball team, and his favorite classes are U.S. History and Vo-Tech. Rilian is enjoying his first year at BJA saying, “It’s been great! The people are nice and welcoming, the teachers definitely know what they’re doing, and the environment as a whole is very pleasing.”
Alejandro (Han) Morales
We want to welcome Han to BJA as he joins the senior class! He is excited to be part of our varsity boys soccer team this year. Previously homeschooled, he explained that one difference in his new school experience has been the scheduling. Two of Han’s favorite things to learn about are history and writing. If he had one thousand dollars to spend only on himself, he would use it to buy tickets to the World Cup finals and hopefully cheer on his favorite team, Spain.
Titus Warren
Although Titus has attended BJA in the past, this is his first year of high school at the Academy, and we are excited to welcome him into the senior class! Coming from a homeschool background, he explained that one difference he has found in school is timing for assignments. This school year Titus is excited for new opportunities for growth, and one of his favorite classes so far is debate. If he had one thousand dollars to spend only on himself, he would buy a motorcycle jacket since he owns his own bike.
