November 14 is a day where several of the great classics were brought into the world, born for a lifetime of greatness. In 1851, Moby-Dick by Herman Melville was published in New York. This was a major influence to our culture, with one of the most iconic first lines ever written! Another famous piece of literature, though not written in America, was first written as a serial. Treasure Island was then circulated as a back-to-back book on this day. Several other illustrious classics “born” on this day include Tangled, premiered in 2010, and Moana, in 2016. So obviously, this day contains every genre necessary for childhood, clearly.
