You have no food in the house? Your mom is too tired to cook? You’re craving processed carbs? Welcome to the wonderful world of fast food: the only time where you can eat 1500 calories in 4 minutes and still feel hungry afterwards. I have taken it upon myself to rank my top 5 favorite fast food establishments with the following characteristics in mind: price, taste, and quality.
5. Burger King
Burger King has only recently become a favorite of mine because I never really had it until about 4 months ago. The prices are great and I love that taste of the food; however, Burger King falls short in terms of quality. This restaurant is sure to give you digestive issues if you eat here too often.
4. Five Guys
Some people just might be ready to burn me at the stake or send me to the guillotine for not placing Five Guys higher, but I have a perfectly valid reason. While the taste and quality are both phenomenal, the price is just way too expensive. Who is willing to pay $6 for fries (even if they are incredibly flavorful)? For this reason, I have decided to give Five Guys the spot above Burger King and below the next restaurant on this list.
3. Culver’s
Culver’s isn’t very popular in the Southeast, but it is among the pinnacle of fast food restaurants. The taste, price, and quality are all equally great and earn respectable merit for this restaurant. Culver’s is great for being a fast food restaurant, but there are 2 more that take it to the next level.
2. Chick-fil-A
This will not come as a surprise to many of you, but Chick-fil-A holds a dear spot in my heart (and I am also biased because I work there). Chick-fil-A earns the #2 spot because not only does everything on the menu taste incredible, but Corporate makes sure that quality is upheld no matter what. Unfortunately, the price is a little high for the amount of food you receive. Because of this reason, there is one fast food restaurant that takes the cake.
1. Zaxby’s
Zaxby’s is my favorite restaurant for several reasons. It takes the mouth-watering flavor and terrific quality of Chick-fil-A and somehow finds a way to make it cheaper. The customer service is horrible when compared to Chick-fil-A, but that factor wasn’t considered when I was making this list. Zaxby’s also makes up for what they lack in customer service with consistently fresh, great-tasting food.
