This year Bob Jones Academy has over a dozen pairs of senior-freshman siblings – around a fifth of the senior class. The Triangle has interviewed some of these senior-freshman siblings to find out what their high school experience has been like together. When asked about their experience at high school together, most siblings said that it’s nice to see each other during the school day, but they usually don’t see each other very often because most seniors and freshmen don’t take the same classes. When asked about any advice for younger siblings, Karis Crockett says she advises her younger brother to “pay attention in Physical Science.” Other advice for siblings included planning ahead for classes and not taking Junior-Senior too seriously but to enjoy it. Many siblings have said that they have differing personalities, with Eowyn Singleton claiming that her younger sister is “much more energetic.” Every senior sibling interviewed claimed that they drove their younger sibling to school, and many of the siblings admitted that they have been called by their sibling’s name on occasion.
