This year BJA has welcomed Mrs. Aul to its faculty as Director of Advancement, forming connections and promoting our mission of “Eternity Matters More.” Hailing all the way from Chicago, Mrs. Aul graduated from a college in Hawaii with a degree in accounting. After moving to Greenville, she and her husband, a University graduate, ran a business and she worked as an operations auditor. With her son attending the Academy, Mrs. Aul brought moms together to form the Parent Serve Team, planning events such as the Junior-Senior afterparty and birthday goodies.
Now as a Director of Advancement, Mrs. Aul’s job is focused on “anything outward facing,” which means connecting with people outside the BJA family. In addition, she leads the Academy’s admissions and marketing, helping prospective families learn about and apply to the Academy. Her job also includes connecting with local businesses for donations and informing them about our school’s mission. This semester, Mrs. Aul has been developing a story brand video for BJA that introduces our school’s curriculum and mission of “Eternity Matters More.” This video will inform donors and families who are unfamiliar with the Academy or may have false assumptions about our school. In her closing statement, Mrs. Aul encourages, “I really feel like you guys are going to go on and be leaders of our Greenville community. We love you guys and want to support you in all that you do.”
