Ryn and Aaron won the top spots in the local chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution essay contest. Ryn took first and Aaron runner-up. The students who submitted were in competition with local public/charter schools. The SARS Director and Essay Chairperson said that the caliber of the writings submitted from the BJA students was superior to many of the other submissions.
